Annabelle Wilson is suddenly widowed after a 32-year marriage to her husband, Fred. They have lived on Nantucket the entire time, running their hardware store and going to the movies every week.

While reading his last will and testament she discovers that upon his death he wishes to be cremated and have his ashes put in ‘a box of chocolates’ because Forrest Gump was his favourite movie.

She makes a list of their favourite 20 movies, sells her house and the hardware store, and leaves her life on Nantucket behind forever. She travels to Scotland first, in honour of BRAVEHEART, where she meets a crusty Inn owner named Lord Howard Awd.

Annabelle is immediately stunned and seduced by the sheer power and passionate beauty of the Scottish countryside. Polar opposites, Annabelle and Howard spend one week discovering secrets they’ve never shared and develop an unlikely friendship.

Will it lead to a last chance at love for both of them? There’s a complication: Howard is scheduled to be married at the end of the week!

DANE SIMPSON is one of Australia’s rapidly rising stars and a regular on the annual Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow tours. You may have seen Dane on ‘Have You Been Paying Attention?’, Aussie feature film ‘The Merger’, ABC’s Comedy UpLate or Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala.

In 2018 Dane starred in the hit standup comedy show “Aborigi-LOL” which sold out its entire season at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. At the end of 2018 he toured Western Australia with his variety show “Great Danes”.

A proud Gamilaraay man, Dane’s hilarious family are a popular fixture of his gut-bustingly funny standup comedy stories. Dane is based in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

‘A brilliant highlight’ – The Age
‘Massively talented’ – Time Out
‘Dane Simpson is proving that the best comedy can be found in the most genuine human experiences’ – Daily Advertiser

MATT FORD  is a much-in-demand comic on the Queensland Comedy Circuit. Matt carries the demeanour of a cranky 40 year old, with acerbic observations and hilariously blunt delivery. Former Class Clowns Champion (2010), feature comic of The Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Comedy Zone cast (2015), Matt has performed as part of Deadly Funny National Showcase, Comedy Up Late (ABC 2016) and toured across Australia with The Aboriginal Allstars.

Matt has earned rave reviews at festivals across the nation as one half of Indigenous comedy show 'Aborigi-LOL'. He has worked with the likes of Tom Gleeson, Tom Ballard, Josh Earl and many others.

‘He’s one of those people who could drink a cup of coffee and it would be hilarious’ – Denise Scott“

‘Matthew had the relaxed, laid-back presence of a headliner who’s been doing this for the last 10 years...’ – Tom Gleeson

KIRSTY WEBECK wins hearts everywhere she goes with her upbeat and relatable brand of comedy that is often described as playful, light-hearted and fun. A gifted storyteller, she has a natural ability for turning the mundane into the hilarious and has quickly become one of the most popular Australian comedians on the circuit. As seen on Network 10’s How To Stay Married, The ABC’s Tonightly with Tom Ballard and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.

As heard on ABC Radio, Audible and as a co-host on Jo Stanley’s Broad Radio. She’s opened for Joel Creasey, Tom Gleeson, Tommy Little and Judith Lucy. She’s appeared on The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Opening Night Allstars Supershow and she’s hosted Frocking Hilarious in Melbourne and the Falls Festival comedy stage in Byron Bay.

She’s a headliner in her own right and can be seen on stages right across the country. She was nominated for Best Comedy for her show ‘Gosh!’ At Hobart’s Fringe At The Edge Of The World 2020

IVAN ARISTEGUIETA From his own ABC sitcom, Lost in Pronunciation, to his debut live standup TV special, Chorizo Sizzle, Ivan exploded on to the scene in 2016 with his brilliant observations on Aussie culture and food, taking him around the country, headlining theatres and selling out festivals.

In 2018 Ivan performed at the MICF Opening Night Comedy Allstars Supershow, and hosted the RAW Comedy Grand Final. His success continued with ‘Juithy’, which he took to The Amsterdam Comedy Festival, London’s Soho Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Ivan now happily calls Australia home and has established himself as Australia's favourite Venezuelan comedian, relishing the chance to perform in his second language, English.

He has gathered a mass of fans for his trademark cheerful and naïve rejoicing in the troubles and joys of a land that is girt by tomato sauce...and the unmissable Saturday Bunnings sausage sizzle.

‘Aristeguieta’s performance is outstanding and he leaves the audience with warm smiles on their faces. My advice: run to buy a ticket, on the off chance that there are still any available.’ ★★★★ ArtsHub

DAVID QUIRK Stand-up comedian and actor David Quirk has cemented his place on our TV screens and as an original voice on the international comedy circuit, with hit live shows in Australia and the UK.

In 2017 David premiered his successful show Cowboy Mouth at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, captivating audiences and critics alike. In 2018, Cowboy Mouth was filmed live in Melbourne for ABC's Comedy Next Gen. David filmed a lead role in short film The Comedian directed by James Woods and collaborated with Benjamin Cittadini, starring in Elmo at the Melbourne Fringe Festival.

In 2019, David began writing a new show and filmed the final series of Rosehaven. In 2021, David returns to the stage, touring his new show Astonishing Obscurity around Australia.

'Brilliant...we've been on a journey through Quirk's own curious mind, and what a ride it's been.' ★★★★ The Age

ITERATE | ELABORATE : Leigh Schoenheimer

26 March to 9 May 2021

Leigh Shoenheimer, Ways of Seeing/Ways of Knowing: Construction #13,
painting, relief and mixed-media sculpture
In this exhibition we see a colourful collision of Schoenheimer’s sculpture and painting practices in a series of works known as the ‘Constructions’. Each work in the series comprises a painted triptych exhibited alongside an abstract sculpture. Faithfully reproduced as a realist painting, each abstract sculpture is then re-interpreted in two other, painted elaborations.

Through the genre of still-life painting, Schoenheimer poses questions about what it is ‘to make pictures’, mining a broad span of stylistic references throughout her work. Schoenheimer’s whimsical use of found objects and pieces of brightly coloured timber toys spark familiarity and joy. Seductive colour harmonies tie her complex works together and are fundamental to providing both a delicious viewing experience and the creation of meaning in Iterate|Elaborate.

The Iterate | Elaborate exhibition was developed by Leigh Schoenheimer in partnership with Onespace Gallery, Brisbane.

Peter Green was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame together with Fleetwood Mac in 1998.  Rolling Stone magazine rates Peter as one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of all time. Directed by award-winning concert director Martyn Atkins (Joni 75, Crossroads Guitar Festival, Cream at the Royal Albert Hall), the cinema event will be preceded by an introduction from Mick Fleetwood. Legendary sound producer Glynn Johns, who produced albums for The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles and Led Zeppelin, will take charge of the audio production.

“The concert is a celebration of those early blues days where we all began, and it’s important to recognise the profound impact Peter and the early Fleetwood Mac had on the world of music.  Peter was my greatest mentor and it gives me such joy to pay tribute to his incredible talent.  I am honoured to be sharing the stage with some of the many artists Peter has inspired over the years and who share my great respect for this remarkable musician.”

– Mick Fleetwood

trailer https://youtu.be/eqUaoL-zKRg

On February 25, 2020, mere days before the first case of COVID-19 was discovered in the UK, as the ongoing pandemic necessitated the suspension of modern society, a very special concert took place at the legendary Palladium in London celebrating the songs of Peter Green and the original incarnation of Fleetwood Mac. The audience at that sold out show witnessed something unique at what would be the last live concert anyone would attend until further notice. This show also now takes on a particularly poignant meaning, with the unfortunate passing of Peter Green in July 2020. The players gathered were an all-star cast and all of the musicians present that night had a deep and frequently far-fetched, cosmic connection to the songs. This music had changed their lives, impelled them to play, and for one of them, inspired the formation of their now very famous band. This music has continued to rouse and arouse, and that night, on the verge of an historically dark and sobering moment in human history, it was given a glorious observance.
