A fun, yet challenging workshop, local basketballers will be taught a series of tricks from one of the world’s top basketball freestylers. Participants will learn the various elements of basketball freestyling – spinning moves, rolling moves, dribbling, and juggling – as well as being shown how to connect these together with style and flare. Promoting creativity, as well as honing hand-eye coordination, this workshop is suitable for young enthusiasts, right through to advanced ballers.

WORKSHOP 2: BMX FLATLANDING

For – bike riders

During this inspiring workshop attendees will receive a step by step masterclass on how to execute BMX tricks from an international champion rider. Participants will learn spinning, balancing,and rolling tricks, as well as being tested on an obstacle course, and be shown the best techniques for falling to avoid injuries. This fun, physical and hands on workshops is a fantastic opportunity for BMX riders to learn from one of the world’s best flatlanders.

WORKSHOP 3: BREAKDANCING

For – dance/circus/movement students

Internationally renowned breakdancers give this amazing dance workshop, teaching choreography, technique and tricks in this explosive dance genre. Equally popular with boys and girls, this action packed masterclass teaches the four main elements of breakdancing - top rocks, footwork, freezes and power moves – and how to link these together into fluent “sets”. Participants are actively encouraged to incorporate their own original style and character in the fun and supportive environment created by the 360 ALLSTARS breakdancers.

 

WORKSHOP 4: CIRCUS

For – circus/gymnastics/dance students

Duration – 60 minutes

 This fantastic workshop offers local youth the opportunity to learn several circus styles and disciplines, including acro-balance, handstands, and juggling. Students will learn to work and problem-solve as a team, as well as be taught correct form and technique to execute all skills safely.

Promoting co-ordination, focus, and persistence in a fun and positive environment this workshop gives attendees a wonderful insight in to the circus world, led by an internationally renowned touring artist.
