The Old Fella is a retired farmer from the York Peninsula who took up comedy at the tender age of 65 to stop him falling of the perch. After completing his first 5 min set he had never felt so alive and was hooked. Over time The Old Fella kept building up his routine and was making audiences laugh where ever he went.
With a 60 min set in his artillery it was time for The Old Fella to build his profile to attract more numbers to his show, so he decided to audition for Australia’s Got Talent. After lining up for 8 hours he finally got his chance and his 3 min routine was enough for him to get through to the judges.
After his first appearance on National Television the Australian Audiences instantly fell in love with this Australian Icon.
After receiving standing ovations and inspiring a nation The Old Fella advanced to the Final of AGT where he finished an amazing 4th. Since AGT, The Old Fella has been booked for over 300 gigs around Australia.
His comedy routine now finishes with a motivational chat about his experience on AGT and how that has changed his life forever.
The Old Fella is best described as a comic Story Teller putting together 70 years worth or yarns and Shearing Shed jokes into a 60 min routine. He will have you in stitches…. Plus he travels with a friend, who is just as funny on stage.
