Taylor Henderson #LoveSomebodyTour [LIVE] at The World Theatre

Taylor will be serenading you with all the hits, and music yet to be released off his new album. These shows are going to be intimate and very personal, which will see Taylor in his shining element.

SOLD OUT in Melbourne!
Taylor stated "I’m so excited to be touring again, and this time i want to connect with as many fans as possible. I can honestly say the best is yet to come and it starts with this tour.... new music is exciting for me. " These shows will allow you to hear Taylor from the heart, so get ready for an intimate evening with Taylor Henderson.

In 2013, Taylor released his self-titled album, which debuted at number one on the Australian Aria charts and was subsequently certified as platinum by the Australian recording industry association. In addition to this, the single in the album "borrow my heart" also debuted at number one with a triple platinum status. It is said in the music industry that you are only as good as your second album, if this is true then his second album "burnt letters" also debuted at number one, yielding a top five hit with the song "when you were mine" .

In August 2016 Taylor released his new song "light up the dark" which featured on the Australian film SPIN OUT (which screened at The World Theatre). The past two years for Taylor have seen some major changes and self-analysis drawing insights from some of his favourite artists, such as Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Michael Jackson, who all had one thing in common, being true to their art and their passion. Taylor has handpicked all the important elements to get his music to his fans on his terms.

2019 is shaping up to be a busy period for Taylor, with his new single titled "love somebody" and a national tour of the same name, kicking off in Victoria and then throughout the country, including Charters Towers in North Qld on Thurs 28 Feb 2019.

at
The World Theatre

Melbourne City Ballet’s Artistic Director Michael Pappalardo re-imagines CARMEN  to Bizet’s famous score to bring to life an evocative opera ballet paying homage to the well known Spanish inspired tragedy.

CARMEN   tells the story of a city policeman Don Jose whose mother calls him to return home to marry childhood sweetheart Micaela but a chance encounter with the enchanting gypsy girl Carmen, leads them both into a relationship of both passion and destruction.

Pappalardo’s CARMEN  is designed to be a loud and bold affair, pulling the audience in from the first overture.

Music: Bizet

An ideal gift for a special person

“... the young dancers were sensational and gave terrific performances. Carmen was... proud, haughty and aloof in a fine performance with some dazzling dancing. Don Jose was passionately performed by Brendan Bradshaw in a splendid dramatic performance. Micaela was sensationally danced by Yuiko Masukawa... This was a most interesting version excellently danced...”

"Reception should definitely sit on your latest list of cabaret shows to see, especially if you want to be completely entertained by interesting stories, clever writing, great songs and lots of laughs – and who wouldn’t?" (Theatre Press)

A flawless duet of music and acting. Comedic, energetic, highly entertaining. ... Both script and music are compatible and the comedy is constant and appealing. I would highly recommend this delightful, entertaining musical.

Stage Whispers

Witty and winning cabaret... brilliant... hilarious... striking and familiar.
- Theatre Press

"I encourage a work group trip to honour all the receptionists out there, and what it means to have 20 things going on at once on a given day. Reception is an entertaining honest production pulled off tirelessly and elegantly without any pretensions. It generates the right amount of laughs and applause, and Bethany Simon is a talent to watch."  - Daily Review

"Captivating. Everyone who works in an office should see this show."  - Weekly Review
