Charters Towers is fortunate to have many talented musicians, and they are the star attractions in a series of FREE recitals in the Peter Black Foyer at The World Theatre.
Musicians will perform for 30-40 minutes, either as a solo or in combination with others. Bring your friends and enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon of culture.
Introducing AMY NEVILLE:
Miss Amy Neville last performed at a World Theatre Foyer Recital almost a year ago, and it will be very exciting to see how her talent has developed, and discover new material.
Amy decided when she was 6 that she wanted to learn the guitar so she had singing and guitar lessons for a few years but has taught herself alot in the last couple of years.
Starting off singing at school fetes and assemblies, Amy went on to compete at a couple of local Country Music Festivals, Battle of the Bands and Eisteddfods, sung in school choirs, with the BTC Stage Band, the BTC Specialist Vocal Group and also in the school band "Red Comment".
Amy loves all types of music and there are very few days she isn't playing her guitar and singing. Amy has written some songs, and hopes to write many more in the coming years.
