For musicians and teachers...
this is your chance to learn how to LOOP...
Let Tjupurru introduce you to looping technology, a relatively easy and inexpensive piece of musical technology that can turn kids into composers of their own songs in minutes.

During the session he will share his experiences of the varied practical application of the power of the beat: boosting engagement with writing and poetry, not to mention mastering multiplication tables through rap.

A proud descendant of the Djabera Djabera of Western Australia's Kimberley area, Tjuppuru plays a unique slide didjeridu, the Didjeribone, through a seismic transducer and a range of electronic effects.

TEDxSydney 2011 took place on Saturday 28 May 2011 at CarriageWorks. Tens of thousands of people enjoyed the day: 800 in the theatre, over 1,000 via big screen simulcast in The Forum, up to 48,000 online via YouTube ... and up to 80,000 tuning in to ABC Radio National. It was a grand day.
